An Opepen, printed in 80 Credits.
Opepen's most valuable set is called 8x8: the Opepen drawn as a grid of squares. A Credit Union Statement is a sheet of Credits 8 wide and 10 tall, each Credit its own 8×8 grid of ink. This union prints the Opepen on that sheet: a black figure made of four-ink Credits on a field of yellow ones.

Nobody has made it yet
Of the 50 Credit Unions open or full today, none is an Opepen. The name works three ways: Opepen's 8x8, the 8×10 sheet, and the classic 8×10 print, for an edition built on printing plates.
The sheet
Each slot on a Painted sheet takes only Credits of one Colors mix. This sheet uses two: Y, yellow ink alone, and CMYK, all four inks, which print nearly solid black flecked with colour. The eyes are yellow slots cut into the head.

What it costs
Prices come from the 19,341 Credits listed for sale on Sep 30, 2026. 1,010 Y and 1,107 CMYK Credits with clean prints are listed, so supply is not the problem. The real choice is which Credits to buy.

The best-match Credits carry denser ink, so the black is deeper and the yellow richer. On-chain, any Y or CMYK Credit fits its slot, so members should buy through the union's page, which recommends the best Credit for each open slot.
Setting it up
- Open creditunion.fun/create and connect your wallet.
- Name:
8x10 - Eligible Credits: add Colors and pick Y and CMYK only. Add Print and pick Registered, so no misprinted ink spills into a neighbouring slot.
- Layout: choose Picture and upload
upload-this-picture.png. Leave brightness, contrast and saturation where they are. - Check the sheet matches the map above: a yellow field, the black head and shoulders in the middle four columns, two yellow eyes.
- Payout: Equal, so all 80 get 1/80.
- Buy or deposit the first Credits the page asks for. A picture union starts from its first slots.
- When burning goes live, set the direction to Consolidated. The draft burn contract lets the creator change it until the final countdown.
Risks
- No Statement has sold yet, so there is no price history. Eight unions are full and all are waiting to burn.
- Burning waits on Jack Butcher's Statement contract, which hasn't shipped. Until it does, full unions can't lock, and members can withdraw at any time.
- The site opens auctions with no reserve. If bids stop below the break-even line, members get back less than they paid.
- This is an homage to Opepen. Opepen's form is widely remixed, but Jack Butcher has said CC0 was never formally declared.
- The previews assume slot 1 prints top left, filling rows. That is the site's reading of Jack's mocks; his contract makes the real sheet.
